Through teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and community involvement, we strive to teach life lessons that extend beyond the field while fostering a love for the game of baseball for players of all ages and skill levels.
We are committed to:
- Promoting player development and confidence
- Encouraging teamwork, leadership, and accountability
- Providing a fun and inclusive experience for all families
- Teaching respect for teammates, coaches, umpires, and the game
- Building a strong community through youth athletics
At the TCBA, our goal is not only to develop better baseball players, but better teammates, leaders, and young athletes.
House League Baseball
The Town of Clarence Baseball Association (TCBA) offers seven age-based baseball divisions designed to provide players with a fun, competitive, and developmental experience: T-Ball, Rookie Coach Pitch, Rookie Machine Pitch, Minor, Major, American, and National Leagues.
Registration for most leagues opens on January and closes in February each year. Registration for the National League remains open through March . Following registration, volunteer coaches are selected and teams are formed during March.
For our youngest players in the T-Ball and Rookie Leagues, teams are organized with consideration given to friendships and school affiliations whenever possible. Teams in the Minor, Major, American, and National Leagues are formed through a player draft process. Once teams have been finalized, coaches will contact players and families with team information.
During April, teams begin practicing based on their coaches' schedules, field availability, and weather conditions. Many teams also take advantage of indoor practice opportunities at TCBA's indoor training facility on Goodrich Road.
The regular season for Minor, Major, and American Leagues typically begins during the first week of May. T-Ball and Rookie Leagues generally start during the second week of May. The National League season begins at the end of May.
The season concludes at the end of June for T-Ball through American League divisions, while the National League season typically runs through July 31.
